This one was a big build. A full custom stone waterfall feature - complete with a built-in slide - designed to turn a standard backyard pool into something that feels like you never have to leave home. No two builds like this are ever the same, and that's exactly what makes this kind of stone work so rewarding to do.
Here's what we were working with - a pool that was nice on its own, but the homeowner wanted more. They wanted movement, sound, and that layered natural look that makes a space feel like it was designed with intention. So we got to work stacking and setting real stone to build up a feature that cascades water straight into the pool below.
The waterfall has multiple tiers, so the water doesn't just drop - it flows. That sound alone changes the whole feel of a backyard. Add the slide coming off the left side of the structure, and now you've got something the kids will never want to leave either. It's functional, it's beautiful, and it holds up.
What makes stone work like this stand out is how permanent and natural it looks once it's done. There's no plastic shell, no manufactured veneer. It's real stone, built to last, and it only gets better looking as it settles into the landscape around it. We also finished out the spa wall on the right side of the pool with matching stone tile work to tie the whole space together.
Not every pool needs a waterfall. But if you've ever sat by one and felt that instant sense of calm - you already know why homeowners keep asking us to build them.
